The Overall Picture
In 2024, Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties made a lasting impact on individuals, families, and the environment. Through our various services and efforts, we empowered thousands with meaningful jobs, diverted millions of pounds of waste, and provided competitive wages. Each number represents a life changed, a step toward sustainability, and a stronger, more connected community. Every part of Goodwill works together like pieces of a puzzle. Each element plays a vital role in creating opportunities, promoting sustainability, and strengthening our community. When combined, they form a complete picture of impact, proving that every donation, job, and service contributes to a greater mission of empowerment and positive change.

Mission Services
In 2024, our Mission Services Team worked tirelessly to transform lives across our community. Through our diverse programs, we empowered over 2,000 individuals to secure employment, helped 179 people find meaningful careers, and helped 60 youth as they graduated high school.
Each step paves the way for a brighter future. Even more exciting, all these numbers have increased from 2023, reflecting our growing impact and commitment to changing lives!
Industrial Services & Recycled Goods
In 2024, our Industrial Services and Recycled Goods programs made a powerful impact on both our community and the environment. Our team produced an impressive 9.2 million parts for our valued industrial partners, including our largest, Wooster Brush and Schaeffler. We diverted over 50,000 pounds of electronic waste and an incredible 2.5 million pounds of unwanted goods from landfills.
We gave new life to materials and reduced our environmental footprint. Each of these numbers reflects growth from 2023, showcasing our dedication to innovation, sustainability, and meaningful employment opportunities.
E-Commerce & Our Community
Our E-Commerce and community continued to make a significant impact this year. 14,800 items found new homes through our online store, connecting unique finds with shoppers across the country. Over 82,000 generous donors contributed goods, allowing us to support our mission in meaningful ways. We also held 35 community donation drives, making it easier than ever for people to give back.
Despite these incredible efforts, we are facing an urgent need—our stores are struggling to stay stocked. Every day, we see firsthand how donations transform lives by funding job training, employment opportunities, and essential programs for individuals and families in our community. Without a steady flow of donated goods, we cannot continue providing these life-changing services.
